Accommodations

  • Lodging is available at The Penn Stater Conference Hotel. Reservations can be made on line or by calling 1-800-233-7505.

  • Please indicate when making a reservation that you are with the Friction Workshop
                         Group Block Code = ROAH09A
    to receive the rate of $99 per night (single occupancy) and $109 per night (double occupancy).

  • For on-line reservations, follow this reservation link enter the reservation number “ROAH09A” and submit.

  • Rooms must be reserved by July 24, 2009 or the group rate is not guaranteed.

  • All rooms are non-smoking and have the following amenities: Computer modem/fax line Two telephones with message alert Remote control color cable TV Coffee maker Hair dryer Iron and ironing board.

  • The rooms are NON-SMOKING and there is a $250 cleaning fee due at time of check-out added to the bill for anyone who smokes in their room.

  • On-site facilities include two restaurants, an indoor lap swimming pool, whirlpool, exercise and weight room, and outdoor walking/jogging trails.

  • All facilities of Penn State University, such as tennis courts, handball and racquet ball courts, and indoor running track can be used by guests of The Penn Stater Conference Hotel. (Some facilities do charge an entrance fee.)
