FTA is funding the construction of a new test facility at the PTI Bus Research and Testing Center which will be used for bus maintenance, emissions testing, and research. This new building will house a Schenck Pegasus 72” roll dynamometer, an AV-900 battery test machine, and a hydraulic truck shaker along with maintenance lifts. This equipment can support research and testing of hybrid electric and fuel cell heavy vehicles.
