Configuration: using a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) approach,
the HHVRC can support testing of any part of a vehicle or
component in a complete system context. The balance of the
system is simulated as shown in the example of a virtual fuel
cell vehicle with only partial hydrogen storage and fuel cell components.

HIL vehicle support equipment:

ABC 150 and AV-900 can be controlled to source or sink large DC loads that emulate batteries, fuel cells, and vehicle loads

Small roll Clayton and 72” roll Schenck Pegasus dynamometers emulate conventional and electric drive-train systems

Existing EV/HEV vehicles or electric motors emulate fuel cell and HEV drive-trains

bullet

Engine dynamometers absorb and control mechanical output of IC engines and motors
