Brake testing will be performed using a Brake Slope Facility located at the Bus Research and Testing Facility. The Brake Slope consists of a concrete ramp with a 20 percent grade located adjacent to the existing test track. The Brake Slope facility will be used to determine the effectiveness of a test vehicle's parking brake. Additional brake tests include stopping distance tests.
